Frame Assemblers & Crate Builders
Frame Assembly
Job Summary:
Assembles curtain wall panels and related sub-assemblies, such as anchors, and back pans. Assemblers are also required to assist in material handling and staging in preparation for product assembly when the need arises. All work is performed on the shop floor at workstations, which may be benches, table or a position on the assembly line.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned. Use a measuring tape or jig to positions parts according to their knowledge of unit being assembled or following assembly drawing. Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, clips, rivets, or other fasteners and adhesives. Removes small quantities of metal and/or plastic with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts. Operates drill presses, sealant pumps, vacuum lifters, hand operated power tools (drill, screw gun, and reciprocating saw etc.) and hand tools (hammer, snips, hacksaw, wrench, and screwdrivers etc.). WHMIS, forklift, pallet jack/walkie, crane, and first aid training an asset.
Crate Building & Packing
Job Summary:
Crate Builder and packers help us get the product to our customers.
Crating and packing department employees are required to use pneumatic tools such as nail guns and staplers, power tools like saws and drills. They will be cutting and measuring wood for crates surrounding large curtain wall panels, cleaning panels and placing them into the crates for shipping. Heavy lifting is performed with suction lifters and overhead cranes, but some manual lifting and maneuvering may be required. We would like all applicants to be able to lift 35-50lbs, on a repeated basis. All work is performed on the shop floor at workstations, which may be benches, table or a position on the assembly line.

Location:
The factory is located along Drew Rd, near Dixie Rd in Mississauga. It is a nice clean, modern facility. We have openings for experienced workers.
